are you truly any different then a religious fanatic? They say religion is like a penis, it's fine to have one, fine to be proud of it but please do not take it out in public and try to shove it down my throat. I find your writings the same.

For the most part you slenderize religious individuals for merely being religious but how this any different if two religious groups fought over their gods? You shallow minded fools cannot see the trees from the forest. What is so wrong with letting people live in blissful ignorance? There are no religious wars near you and if you truly did care about that aspect of religion surely blogging isn't the greatest means to accomplish your goal...

But I think this is the crux of my point, you have no goal. Most likely your only goal is to hurt or insult individuals who believe in some make believe characters, but I ask you, is Hamlet real? Is King Lear real? No, these individuals are characters in fictional stories YET this individuals are noted as being some of the REALEST characters in modern literature and here is where you went astray. Instead of explaining to individuals this book is just that, a book. And this individuals, just as in any book, are written to be learned from religious individuals believe the lie of art (picasso once said art uses lies to tell the truth; think of fiction and hamlet never existing) You even speak to the power of written text to communicate key ideas but a thing you haven't truly mentioned, in any of your blogs or posts that I have looked over in the past months is what the world would be like without religion...

today without religion the world may be better off, money spent smarter, a more gloabalized world not fighting over some sand and all together happier place. But in the ancient times I ask who was the main client of all the arts???? Hmmmm.... that's right, religion. It was religion that first introduced man to deep though and where philosophy is born from, the ancient myths (greek bible) but here you are on your mighty bull (dionysius would have your limbs if you understand any of that) thinking you can talk down to people for some reason. Too bad you're probably after dollars, that just doesn't make and cents to me though...

I am atheist, but I am not discriminatory over any person based on where they came from, their beliefs or their ideology so long as they allow myself equal respect.

I really like the COW picture - highland cattle are truly the glamour gals of the bovine breed.

You present valid points, (except that Muslim remark - really, now, even a liberated gramma cringes at that sort of remark) and I just want to say that I've enjoyed reading Red Neck Blue Collar Atheist. You come in from different angles than we're used to seeing, and that is refreshing - and thought-provoking. Keep up the good work!

I sent an email to the ASA – to the lady who emailed me. Her email address was on their letter. That was over 24 hours ago – no acknowledgement or response at all yet.

I agree – political ads must adhere to some criteria. But if the ASA make them exempt, who does regulate them?
